Ah, Life Is A Game

April 8, 2012
Written for Haiku Heights
April Challenge..

Prompt : Play

Also Shared with One single Impression

Prompt: Wassail

Before the main course let me confess:

Words fall in my head
and my heart plays with them
Soul creates haiku..

****

Ah, Life Is a Game

Ah life is a game;
but then it will be curtains
with final whistle

With final whistle
will vanish the ground;
the spectators

The spectators
for whom we often play;
entertainment

Entertainment
no more for others, hey;
play for the soul

Play for the soul
lets go wassailing for
sweet happier fruits

Sweet happier fruits
come from constant fair play;
Ah, life is a game..

RS:)
Prompt for OSI Sunday is the word Wassail refers to several related traditions; first and foremost wassailing is an ancient southern English tradition that is performed with the intention of ensuring a good crop of cider apples for the next year's harvest.
