Hands Feel Each Weave..
Thanks to Vibhuti for fabulous prompt..
Written for Haiku Heights.. Gift from my childhood I shuffle pages of the book Wow! Dreams fall, still fresh …
***
An infantile coat Hands feel each weave, my mother's Aroma in my first wear.
Beautiful imagery and I liked the dreams falling out from the pages of a book..and still remain as fresh memories!! The second one is also a poignant reminder of days gone by!! Excellent work RS!!
'dreams fall still fresh' - wow ... all of them are very beautiful ... and I have enjoyed visiting your blog a lot. would come back again at leisure ... your words as comments are very encouraging. Thank you. all the best.
Such beautiful words, that say so much. I share your love affair with books - since early childhood they have been the conveyor of dreams to me. Loved these poems.
Your haiku remind me so much of Proust--remember the memories and sensory feelings evoked with the madeleines and tea? So wistful. Nicely done, Margaret

Love the idea of a mother's scents imprinting clothing! Lovely haikus!
ReplyDeleteYou describe this wonderfully - 'dreams fall still fresh'. How it does, for those lucky enough to know where to find it.
